So this week has been a bad one for me. Tuesday morning I woke up to having pains in my back. Kind of like a pinched nerve right between my shoulder blades. Yesterday it was finally feeling better. But today it feels like someone beat the crap out of my back with a bat.
Needless to say, I haven't worked out since Monday. I'm seriously going through withdrawals! I know it's all in my head, but I just feel frumpy already. Major sads. I don't want my back to be out of commission forever though. So I'm going to take care of my back, and rest. I'm hoping that I can start again on Monday and I'll just make up this week then. So it'll be P97x for me. Ha! However, at this rate, I'm not sure I'll be ready to start by Monday. *Tears*
On a happy note, my first post is up over at Our Mommyhood. It's about how I relate to a TV character. Go check it out and tell me if there's a fictional character that you can relate to as well.

I read your post over there and it was great!
And I hope your back gets better soon.
UGH, I HATE not being able to workout because of an injury! Get better soon and let hubby take care of you all weekend!
CHIROPRACTOR seriously do not fool around with that area of your back and having suffered that kind of similar injury I can tell ya that they are miracle workers..
oh no! hope you're better soon!
ugh, there's nothing worse than back pain! i hope you start feeling better soon!! i'm living vicariously through your workouts. one of us has gotta do it! haha
aw shucks girl. hope it gets better soon. isn't working out addictive?!~
Ohhh I went to the chiropractor today and he couldn't even move anything b/c my muscles were so tight. And he said running may have aggravated something I'd already done. WORKING OUT MADE ME WORSE! ;-) j/k :-D
Well I have to give you MAJOR props for stopping and taking care of yourself. As a trainer, I saw WAY too many people who would get sucked into the awesome of working out (which is not at all a bad thing) and then would just push through the pain...which ALWAYS ends badly. I hope you feel better soon - as a licensed massage therapist, I'm obligated to advise you to get a massage. ;) Tell DHubs I said so, too. Doctor's orders!
I know that exact feeling. I started to have it while we were on vacation. I mean, I know that I was supposed to be relaxing and all that, but I barely got to the resort gym while we were away and I just started getting that frumpy feeling. I hate it. Luckily once you get back into your workout, the feeling goes away quickly.
Take care of yourself and I hope that your back gets better soon! It's definitely better to rest now then try to push it and make matters worse!
Yuck! Sore backs are the worst. Certainly hope you are better soon and ready to jump back in on Monday.
Oh, and I am absolutely positive you are far from frumpy!
Shandal - I hope you feel better love. Loved your post over at Our mommyhood. So true! but it's better to be Monica, than say, Stewey from "Family Guy" or something.
:-)
